….don’t go away. I like rain. A dark rainy day makes me feel snug and warm inside the house and I love to watch it rain. This is the rain-swollen creek in the aftermath of the storm. Anyone else love a rainy day?
Heads up! I have something special planned for the next several Free Book Fridays, so don’t miss the first one tomorrow!

I love a rainy day as it is a terrific excuse to stay inside and relax while I read a good book. I wouldn’t dream of using the day to do housework or any other work….no,no! Of course, right now we aren’t having rain in Minnesota, but that funny white stuff called SNOW! Oh well, same rules apply as far as I am concerned.

I like the rain as long as it doesn’t turn to freezing rain like we had over the weekend! Now, we’re getting the white stuff, which I like too, as long as there isn’t a bunch of ice first…unfortunately that’s what we have this time. ๐ฅ But it’s a great excuse to stay inside and read!!!

I love storms! When I see the dark sky in the horizon and feel the change in the air, I just love it!

Rainy days are just fine with me. They mean we will have plenty of water next summer to garden. Also a good excuse to curl up with a good book. Living in Oregon I get a lot of days to curl up with a good book and watch it rain.

My father loved thunderstorms. He would gather us up and go out on the porch and watch the lightening and listen to the thunderboomers. He’s gone now, but whenever we get a thunderstorm I remember cuddling up to him on the porch swing and I feel safe and loved. Now, this doesn’t mean that I like to go out driving in a thunderstorm – he taught us to respect them. Just plain rain is good too – except not for reading, but for sleeping.

I love going for a drive in the rain; there is just something about it that I can’t explain. My Mom who has passed away also loved to watch a thunderstorm and if Mom felt safe I felt everything was okay.

Yep, I love the rain, too! As long as I don’t have to leave the house. Then, it’s the worst thing in the world.
*sigh* I miss living in Seattle.

Rain is good, although I hate to drive in it. I also don’t like to slide and sink to my ankles in wet clay.

I’m with everyone else. It’s great if you can sleep in and never leave the house. But I like a nice summer storm that doesn’t last too long – hate that continuous cold drizzly type of rain that goes on for days. And a rainbow afterwards is always nice:yes:

I love the rain! It’s so nice to sleep during rainy weather, or to stay warm and snuggly inside. As long as the power stays on I like watching the lightening, too.
