Buttercup stationing himself on my suitcase again last night! He is so worried I will leave him again!
The comments and guesses on my speeding ticket cracked me up! You guys are so funny! I especially loved the one about how my husband should have let me go out that day with no pants! Maybe that would have helped……. Note to self: No pants next trip.
The state highway speed limit was 65 most of the way, then it suddenly dipped to 55 and I didn’t realize it. Oops. I was clocked at 76. The winner is Jeanette!!!
Oh, and he said I could plea it down to 64 and keep it off my record. Should I wear pants to court? 😉
(P.S. Approximately $1200 was raised via the Soldier’s Angels hurricane relief auction!)

My mother once got a ticket. So she went to court to contest it. Since the policeman wasn’t there to give his side of the story, she got off! :thumbsup:Downside, she had to drive at least 60 miles round trip to do it.:thumbsdown: At least she didn’t get any points deducted though in the end it cost her almost as much. But then, my father, who’d had a stroke and couldn’t drive, enjoyed going for the ride.:grin:
