Spring break is over!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay! The grubby little bastards, I mean MY BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN, have gone back to school. I will celebrate by watching grown-up TV shows, eating chocolate for lunch, and going to the bathroom with the door open.
Mostly, I’m going to write a lot. ๐
My April Newsletter is here! Check it out. And if you’re not on my newsletter list, please use the subscribe button in the sidebar to join! I only send a newsletter when I have a book out, maybe two or three times a year, so you won’t be inundated with Suzanne Spam and you can keep up with when my books are hitting the shelves. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!
Azalea buds are opening up here in North Carolina! What are the signs of spring in your area?
Katie says:
My kids go back today too – but I’m Off…till tomorrow when I have to go back to teach other people’s grubby little…I mean angel darlings.

My kids are back to school/daycare this week, too, after a long trip to MN last week. We got back to MO and found the Bradford Pear in full bloom and a forest instead of a yard. Poor hubby had to mow yesterday….

Signs of spring in Kansas…POLLEN! Oops, I sound like my grumpy ol’ dad. The trees are covered with beautiful blooms here (and no, I don’t know what kind they are. I’m a botany reject.) And……the grass is turning green!

Gophers are evil. Especially the college hockey kind.
I hate the pollen that spring brings. My allergies are horrid. I’m allergic to every single tree that grows here. ANd those are only the ones that were tested.
I do like walking in the park with DH and seeing all the kids playing in the playground and the dogs walking their owners. I like that the ducks and geese are also back at the pond in the park too.

Going to the bathroom with the door open? Love it. ๐ Signs of Spring? Hmm. Well, at least the sun is shining today. It’s been darn cold and gloomy here in NJ. Happy writing, Suzanne!

We’ve got all kinds of crocus’s blooming, and some hyacinth too. All kinds other bulbs, along with peonies and columbine and starting to come up too. (we’ve planted probably 2000 bulbs plus MANY other plants/trees in the last 4 years since I moved up here) All our trees and bushes, fruit and flowering, are budding out. The strawberry plants have come to life, and the rhubarb is sprouting. We’ve been watching the stores for the tomato plants now….I LOVE spring! ๐
