Wish you were here…but you’re not! I’m so mean. LOL. We’re having a week of beautiful weather here. But NO HORSES. Sob! I get up early every morning to look for them, trusty digital camera in hand. The guests from last week wrote, “We saw the horses once.” So maybe it’s just not our day yet….. The guests from the week before said they saw the horses a couple of times. And from the week before that: “We woke to the sound of horses and found them surrounding the deck below the house–an amazing and wonderful sight.” Sigh. I’M SURE IT WAS. Why why why not me me me? Or maybe they just make it up. I’m going to write in the guestbook that I saw the horses EVERY day, fed them candy from my hand, and rode them all!
I have seen the rare domesticated Australian Shepherd running on the beach…..
And the even less often sighted and little understood American teenager, doing the same thing he does at home. Sleeping.
Of course, he can occasionally be coaxed out of the house to join his brother and sister boogie boarding in the ocean. Yes, he lives!
Here’s hoping for horses tomorrow…………….

I hope you get to see those horses too. Have you seen the dolphins? I hope you have a wonderful time sans horses anyway.

Here’s to hoping for horses tomorrow morning?? (maybe the horses have spotted the very rare Australian Shephard and are staying away??)

I actually have seen the wild horses on the Outer Banks. They are so cool! Not as large as I thought they’d be, but it was neat. 🙂 Maybe put out a bowl of water for them??

I definitely want the OB to be part of one of my holidays some day. It looks like great fun with lovely ladies, sleepy teens–also water-logged ones–dogs and…perhaps horses, and of course great weather. We’re not too slouchy in the weather department right now 80, and more with humidity. Not bad at all for October here. It’s my uncle’s birthday today and he always said that in Winnipeg winter started on his birthday. No sign in London, ON.
Here’s wishing and praying that you get to capture some of those horses–on camera of course.:grin:
