A Bush Hog

Finally. It’s been a long time coming. We have a bush hog mower attachment for the tractor. Let the field-clearing begin!

Those are great! Don’t do what my father in-law does and think you can mow down small trees with them, I mean like 3-5 inch trees. It didn’t last to long after that. LOL!

  2. Joell says:

Good for you! Those machines are great, they can clear brush away in no time flat, a must for a farm such as yours.

Wow! Everything is going so well for you. I hope it lasts for a very, very long time! I have really enjoyed your posts this week. I’ve missed you! :snoopy:

  4. Cousin Mark says:

Great machine but be careful… wear seat belt and your bladder is the best safety device, if it looks scarey and too steep, too wet, too sidling, don’t go there. Good to use to clip weeds before they form mature seed heads. Remove wild cherry limbs from field where stock can get to them as wilted wild cherry leaves are poison.

The old gentleman farmer we bought this farm from told me all you needed to keep a farm was a tractor and a bush hog. It is a great implement. Cousin Mark gave you some good advice.
