You know what they say….
Zip it, lock it, put it in your pocket….LOL. At least that’s what I’m sayin’ here in MI. 😉
It’s not too bad really, at 46* right now.
Supposed to go up to 70 here today in northeast Kansas. Those windows are going to be opened as soon as I get home. Can’t wait. Only a week ago we were up to our wazoos in snow.
I have laundry on the line, have actually brought my sheets back in and made the bed ( in Ohio). There is still a lot of snow on the ground, especially in the shadows. We don’t want it to be warm, though, as the trees and flowers will start budding and winter is not over yet.
Do I see buds on those trees already…I noticed in another pic from a few days ago, it looked like some new grass starting to appear…we don’t have either here yet…it’s DRAB but sunny and warming up!!!! 8)
While it’s not quite that warm here for our house windows to be open, I did crack the windows for the kiddos a bit in the car on the way to an orthodontist appointment this morning! That’s a start, right? 😉
New snow on the ground this morning, and hoarfrost on all the trees and fences. If it weren’t so pretty, I’d be even greener with jealousy than I am already!
All of your photos are absolutely amazing! However, if you like sunshine, my winters are amazing…I live in Phoenix where blue skies and short sleeves are commonplace. But come July, I might trade places with you. Don’t know if your animals would appreciate the trade though.
I have the windows open here @ 55 degrees in Michigan Winter Wonderland! I also have the furnace fan on to circulate the air coming into our home! How I love the sunshine and the fresh air!!!
~~HUGS~~
:woof: I took the slips off of our feather bed pillows and put them out on the porch in the sun.
I looked at the maples and the buds have thicken up just since yesterday, I can wait, I have so much I want to do.
I am looking for morning warm enough to see out in the swing and have my coffee watching the sun come up, even those mornings when I wrap up in a blanket.
I have the doors open but I’m not brave enough to open the windows. Isn’t it amazing how much faster morning chores go when you don’t have to haul water and break it from frozen water buckets. I am loving this weather but deep down I know we’re going to pay for it.
Me too…opened up the back door and let the breeze blow through! Amazing, last week was -17, today 70 degrees. Grandpa used to say, “If you don’t like Arkansas weather, just stick around a little while and it’ll change!”
OKay,
Rub it in why don’tcha. I live 9 miles south of the Canadian border and we got about 8 inches of snow yesterdy. Yes, thankfully the sun is shining but it only reached 11 degrees today. Come on Summer!!!
Ok rub it in. Here in New York it was in the mid 40’s tomorrow it is to be in the mid 50’s. Saturday back down to 30’s and for the next few days. At least with the warmth it will melt some of this snow. I want May to come so badly. Here at our house after snow then we have mud. We don’t have a paved drive way. So everyone tracks in mud, Not me of course. :sun:
We got an inch or so of hail last night at 9. This morning it was just cold rain and wind. I’m not complaining, we really need all the moisture! How else is my truck going to get washed and my lawn watered???
