Here in North Texas, the Bradford pear trees have bloomed and have their 1st leaves too. But they said it may dip back into the 40s next week. So Winter is still hanging around, even here.

  2. Darlene in North GA says:

It’s been in the low 20’s here in north GA, but the Bradford pears have bloomed here, too. I’m hoping the apple and peach trees haven’t bloomed yet. If they do, this county will lose yet another season of peaches and apples – and pears, too.

Discovered a few hosta shoots coming through this afternoon! Spring may get here at long last :snoopy:

I was thinking the other day that things should be starting to bud up, but not much is happening in Virginia, either. Happy Easter!

My Peanut Butter tree isn’t showing anything yet, but my filbert is budding crazy.
Yes a very happy Easter to all.

I was all excited to see leaves on my hawthorn tree. Then I put my glasses on. The leaves are english ivy leaves from a vine that’s crawling up the bare-twigged hawthorn branches. gaaack
