Busy Baby

He’s full of pep, our Dr. Pepper.

He’s discovered the shelf in the goat house. He runs and bounces and bounces and leaps. I feel sorry for him sometimes because he’s a singlet. See Sailor and Pirate playing on the shelf in the goat house in the video here.

But Dr. Pepper doesn’t let his single child status interfere with his fun. He is a busy baby! Mommy can hardly keep up with him.

Nutmeg: “What have I done? I’VE CREATED A MONSTER.”

“I could use a cookie. That would help.”

Luckily, there are always a few peaceful moments for Mommy.

Then he’s leaping and twirling again.

Update on Fanta and Sprite:

Sprite still looks like this.

And Fanta (in an unladylike moment where you can see her full udder) looks like this.

And Mr. Pibb?

He still looks mighty proud.

You need to make some cigar shaped cookies so that Mr. Pibb (the proud papa) can pass them around to the Stringtown Rising Farm animals.

  2. Lindsay says:

Okay so, I’m gonna be revealing my ignorance here, but: what is the thing Fanta is licking/investigating above her udder?

Little Dr. Pepper is darling btw.

  3. Nona says:

I believe that the way Fantas’ “lady bits” and utter are swolen, she will give you a baby within the next two days. Good luck with the ‘crib’ barn.

  12. jan~n~tn says:

Fanya is holding off to see if you will let her in to the birthing room. Fanta: A little privacy here please.

I keep coming back again and again to look at Dr. Pepper. His coat is gorgeous and he is so full of energy and enthusiasm! I made everyone at work watch the video of him bouncing around (the top charity we support is Heifer International, so the boss was OK with taking work time for that). Everyone agreed that Dr. Pepper is the cutest kid ever.

  18. Urbanite says:

I should add that Clover is still my favorite, though. I admire her attitude.

  19. Lynne says:

Wow, I just can’t believe how active they are right after they are born! He looks like his daddy.
