Speaking of cows…I have a question for you Suzanne. Next spring-ish, my daughter and I will be moving to Washington state, where we will be buying a small farm (5-10 acres) We’ve been talking about the critters we want to keep. I immediately thought house cow, so we would have milk and cheese and all the other good stuff that comes from that, but then I thought I might not be prepared to milk a cow daily, or twice daily. I was thinking milking goats, but I am not sure about that either. Could you possibly do a post on your thoughts about milking goats versus milking cows. Your pros and cons. Please? I am having chickens of course, and probably a few angora rabbits for the fur. (I weave) She was talking sheep, but I don’t know about that either! I would cherish your thoughts!

Claudia, milking a goat vs milking a cow are two such different things, really! I’ll think about it, whether I can come up with enough to say to write a post, lol.
