Cat Perch

That’s Sugar atop a fence post (actually a cut tree that’s used as a fence post), surveying her kingdom. (The goat yard, actually.) It was a slightly warmer day here today, and nice. I made candles. I’m getting ready for the holidays!

It was a nice day today. Hubby and I got our frazier fir tree and it’s in the house and ready to decorate. I’ll work on it a little a time in the evenings this week. I put a few lights outside and am working on decorating inside a little at a time. Dreading going back to work tomorrow! Have a great evening and thank you for all you do!

Sugar is beautiful, like my Calico Queen. What a great perch for her!

She is so pretty, and she blends in with the background. She makes me wish I could do that. Now, back to look at her again.

What a pretty cat on her feifdom perch! I wish I could have about a dozen kitties around here, but sadly only 1 barn cat. Terrorist dogs took care of a couple of my feline friends, and now the barn cat won’t accept any other strays that show up to share his food… But at least he’s surviving for a few years on his own! 🙂

  5. Nancy says:

She doesn’t look happy that you disturbed her! lol

  6. Rose H says:

Aha, Sugar’s a real pole cat then! 😆

  7. Cheryl LeMay says:

Our barn cat sits on the fence posts too.Apparently it’s a good way to hunt. I’ve seen him pounce on mice from up there.

  8. Linda Zoldoske says:

Hilarious! My cats would love that perch too!

  9. Miss Becky says:

I love photos of your kitties. And sugar looks like a sweetie. What began as a nice day here in Wisconsin has turned cloudy, windy, and wintry, with a mix of rain/sleet predicted for overnight. A good day for making candles.

I think I need to cut a tree off so my cats can use it. I wonder if it will help them catch the chipmonks. They eat my filberts…
Sugar is beautiful and looks so happy.
We have already had our first snow this year before Thanksgiving and it was 18` too boot. I don’t like it and neither do the animals. It is hard for the dairy cows to get to the barn to be milked because they have a hill to go down. They are careful in motion! I had never seen cows being careful until they came down that hill on the ice. DANGEROUS personified. If you could imagine 1400 pounds cow wallking like she is on eggs, cows have no grip you know. :moo: :moo:

    Have a BEAUTIFUL day everyone.
