Clumping Time

Baby Maia had a bath this morning–she gets dried milk on her face and poop on her butt, so she needs washed up and there’s no mama to lick it. I stop short at licking farm babies. Barely. Sometimes I want to. I’M JUST KIDDING! Then we had clumping time. Goats are clumpers. They love to sit next to and practically on top of each other. Maia doesn’t have any goats to clump with, so I clump with her. We sit in the rocking recliner and rock and…..clump.

Not a bad way to pass some time, I gotta say! Goats are smart!

Cute! Sounds like a good excuse to curl up with a good book too!

Oh my goodness…how cute. My husband is going to be mad at you. You are making me want goats. We already have 10 Dexter Cattle, two Pyrs, and 60 chickens! Goats seem easier to care for and keep alive than sheep. So sorry about your little ram lamb.

Can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning. Too cute. Sorry about your lamb. Helps me to remember that farming isn’t always as romantic as I want to make it out to be. Of course because I live in suburbia and want to live on a farm. 😀

    Thanks for sharing.

Now see. I always thought my pugs were piglets because they snort, but we clump all the time. So maybe they are goats instead!! Adorable.

LOL! I have had goats for 7 years and NEVER know that is what you call it! My goats “clump” about the same time every day.

She’s so cute. I am bottle feeding 2 buck kids right now because the mom is having a hard time. She’s almost 11. So are you milking the mom? What’s going on with her? Just wondering.

Aw she is so adorable! I want to clump with her too!

Ha. My Lab/Basset Hound mix LOVES to clump! I thought it was called puppy-pile. Either way, I love the snuggling time with my baby (she’s just over 1 year old). Love the new baby!

Precious baby! Our little pygmy Tinkerbelle was not gaining weight like she should so we took her to the vet. The vet asked us a few questions and then said, “Tink needs to eat more grass and watch less TV with your husband.” Her feet never touched the floor, she just sat on my husband’s lap and watched TV with him while wrapped in her towel. We had to get another baby goat to teach her how to act. Hmmm shades of things to come?
