Cold Duck

My little duck is the first one up in the morning in the chicken yard and the last to go to bed. I can’t wait to get more ducks in the spring so she won’t be so lonely with only those awful chickens for company!

Isn’t she a lovely color of fresh butter! Can’t wait for you to get baby ducks in the spring and I know this duck will be thrilled! Chickens are so superior acting and the really have no reason.

There’s just something so sweet about a duck. She’s a pretty thing and you’ve captured her beautifully with your camera.
Whenever we’ve tried to have ducks they just follow the creek down to the river and sail out of our lives forever. Raccoons can be such a nuisance too!I hope you’re able to keep your next lot hanging around.

    Done deal…voted for you, honey!!

I love ducks and miss having them around. My favorite of our ducks was a gray and white fellow who had a feather afro. :purpleflower:

  5. Miss Becky says:

oh, I just don’t like it when a critter is lonely. She has no name? Well, she needs a name, and some buddies too!

  6. Hannah says:

Poor little duck. 😥 She looks so cold and alone.

  7. Barbee' says:

Just think how cold her wide webbed feet must be in that snow! I have some rubber shoes which I call my puddle duck shoes; poor ducky needs some warm puddle duck shoes!

  8. B. Ruth says:

You got that picture in the quack of time….

    I miss my duckies…..toooo

They were always so funny when they would feed on Poke berries….I think they actually would get a little drunk from them! Not so much fun was the purple poop!

  9. Lynn says:

She does look cold and lonely – you should bring her inside til spring!
