Last Call: I have spaces available at the two-day June Cows, Cheese, Soap & Baking retreat, June 14-15. The five-day July Family Cow, Cheese, Soap, Herbals & Baking retreat is completely full, and due to the craziness that is my fall, I don’t have anything else scheduled this year. If you want to come to an event at the farm this year, don’t pass it up.
I need to finalize plans and supplies as this event is coming up soon. If you want in on the June retreat, get all the info here!

I lived on my Grandparents farm when I was a child, and I remember when I was in the barn and my Opa was doing the milking, he would squirt me, I used to get so upset. The barn cats where always close by to get their bowls of milk, I can still remember the smell of the barn, the smell of the hay, I wish I could go back for just a little while.

If you’ve been thinking about going to one of Suzanne’s retreats, you NEED to make plans to do this. We had so much fun last month and we are scheduled for the July retreat as well.
I’ve been to both kinds of her retreats (Camp Shepard and her studio) and I’m here to tell you that the studio retreat is much more fun (yes, it’s true-you’ll have EVEN MORE fun!!!)
You will get to spend time at her farm and get to know her. She is a totally laid back person (like you see in her writing) who will have you laughing until your sides hurt.
The food is delicious and you will leave with a wealth of knowledge and a new set of true chicken sista’s that you’ll keep in touch with. I know the majority of us from the May group have friended each other on Facebook and we are keeping up with each others lives.
I highly recommend this retreat!

Personally, I can’t wait!!!! WE LEAVE CALIFORNIA THIS SUNDAY!!! We are driving cross country to get there. YEAH!!!

I retire in 58 days, so next year we will be there! Denisestone, tell me how the trip is, we will also be driving from California, pulling an old Coachman trailer!
