Peanut, gazing adoringly into the eyes of his new mom, Teresa (OR NOT!!!! thanks, Yvonne!), during the Party on the Farm. (She’ll be taking him home in October. Photo by Jerry Waters.)

The Party on the Farm 2011 was a blast! There was a CROWD! I’ll be back as soon as possible with full reports and lots of photos from both the retreat and the party, plus a more detailed photo post of Kelly Walker’s paintings downstairs.

Just give me a day. I’m tired and my feet hurt. Thank you so much for being here, at the retreat and the party, and thank you more for being so kind and helpful!

Sounds like it was a wonderful weekend.

May I ask, however, that you DO NOT rely only on Facebook to share the fun. Not everyone does facebook, and personally I would hate to miss out because that was the only place the memories and photo were shared.

Thanks, girl. You sure do need a breather after the last few days.

Congratulations Suzanne! Sounds like it was all a big success. Go put your little feeties up, have a beverage and take it easy while patting yourself on the back for such a good job. Congrats to all those who helped make it a success!!! :happyflower:

Uh, Suzanne? I’ve debated all day about whether or not to say something, and I really hate to tell you this, but unless her plans have changed, that’s not the Teresa who will be Peanut’s new mom. 😕 (I’m sure you met so many people this past weekend that it was very hard to remember who’s who!)

  4. Teresa says:

I was there, but that’s not me. Peanut is looking mighty cute in that picture though. It was great learning how to trim their hooves. We can’t wait to take Peanut and Coal home. See you on October 2nd! – Teresa

:snoopy: I had sooo much fun at the farm party. It was wonderful meeting everyone! The time went by way too fast. Im still pinching myself…I was at Suzannes house! I actually got to meet her!!! There are no words to describe how wonderful it was. Other than, it felt like a family reunion. Thanks to all for all that you did! Im so happy to hear there will be another one.
