Well, at least you have a Barn! And it’s full of hay.!!
Time to get out the comforters, “snuggy” PJ’s, flannel shirts, heavy warm boots, and get that wood chopped & ready for the woodstove. Hopefully all your livestock have shelters. Do you wrap your hot water heater? We do, and we live in California:-) Oh, don’t forget the anti-freeze in your SUV (car in disguise).

Perfect weather for baking and cooking stews and crocheting and drinking hot cocoa. All things cozy.

Was a good day to make pot roast, do some canning and for the first time make Grandmother’s Bread, I must say I threw all my other bread recipes out. Two loaves did not last the night…sigh I’m baking again in the morning, stay warm ya’ll… :hungry:

Damp and cold here too. Time to turn on the furnace. 🙁 But I do enjoy hanging out in my sweats and pj’s after work. Good time to bake and cook too.

The same here. Perfect days for hot soup, and curling up by the wood stove to a good book or some knitting.

Started your book last night!! I love the graphics (red chickens and wing-dings sprinkled throughout). I can hardly wait to go to bed and read tonight!
I feel a little voyeuristic reading the book. I feel like I know you from years of reading your blog and that I am reading something very personal. It is strange, but obviously WON’T stop me from finishing the book 8)
