What happens at Stringtown Rising Farm stays at Stringtown Rising Farm.
I said that at the party after the following embarrassing incident, which I am revealing now because it’s always better to tell on yourself:
I had one teenager picking up door prizes one at a time from the table while Morgan called out numbers and I checked the list for the winner. Unfortunately, when Morgan called out number 24, it came to my attention that there was no 24 because when I numbered the sign up sheet, I went from 19 to 30. This cannot be explained, but despite my high score on the Census test, I’m thinking they’re mighty lucky I turned down the job due to my obligations with my cow. How many times have I said I can’t do math? IT’S TRUE. I can’t even number.
Okay, back to door prizes.
The first door prize today is a 2011 Chickens in the Road calendar. Leave a comment to let me know you want it. This contest will end whenever I feel like it (these are door prizes, people, you must be present to win!) and I’ll post a new door prize. (There will be multiple door prizes given away today!) I’ll keep a running tally on winners carrying over to each post so you don’t have trouble finding out if you won.
So who wants a calendar?! (Luckily for you, the comment numbering on my blog is done automatically because you don’t want me involved!)
Door prize #1 winner: #50, northcountrygirl. Email me at CITRgiveaways(at)yahoo.com with your full name and address for shipping!
THIS CONTEST IS CLOSED. See Door Prize #2.
