Yesterday evening, my farm looked like this:
I woke up this morning to 4 1/2 inches of snow, and it’s still snowing. There’s no school today. Again.
I must have been dreaming last night……

I hope this link copied proper for you to view. When I first saw this, it made me think of you because you keep getting snow and Morgan keeps missing school. LOL!

We have a sunny 18 degrees this morning, but snow coming tomorrow, only a couple of inches. After watching the news this morning and watching what folks are dealing with in the South and along the coast, I dont worry about a few inces of snow, my heart goes out to them.

Be sure to take another picture at the end of today. We got 2 inches in just an hour here in Charleston this morning. By the time it’s done, I bet we have a foot – which means you all will probably have two!

Your farm looks beautiful with and without snow. Wonder just how many records were broken this year all over the country? Here in Chicago and suburbs we’re waiting for the warmer temperatures that are supposed to happen Monday (37), Tuesday (38), and Wednesday (44). We’ve had so many single digit and sub-zero days, I’ve forgotten what 44 feels like. I am so ready for Spring.

It just started here in Eastern Maine (1:45 PM). Supposed to get at least a foot or more. But we’re used to it. The plows and sand trucks are ready and waiting. Schools closed at noon in most places. Next week is Feb. vacation so the kids will probably get tomorrow off too. We’re ready for whatever Mom Nature throws at us because…we’re tough New Englanders!
And, yeah, like someone above said, be sure and take a pic after the storm is over so we can see how much you got!

What a beautiful view anyway! We haven’t thawed out at all up on my ridge here in Mason Co., even though Ripley was mostly thawed. Then we got another 4″ on top of that, even though they told us to only expect a dusting. My poor chickens haven’t been out of the coop for about 3 weeks now and they are looking pretty shabby after picking at each other all day long. 😕
