Easy and Delicious

Strawberry-Coconut Delights! Made out of just a few simple ingredients–flaked coconut, cornstarch, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and strawberry jam. You gotta try these! Find the recipe in my latest Charleston Daily Mail column.

For those of you in the area, I’m also now writing a monthly column for Two Lane Livin’. My first column appears in the April issue, which is available now (free!) throughout central West Virginia. Let me know if you see it!

AND–a big thank you to Oliverio Peppers for linking to my pepperoni rolls recipe on their website!

Congrats on the new writing gig!

I think I will pass on the delights tho’ – strawberries and coconut kind of wigs me out. LOL

  2. Julie says:

These look good! Looking forward to reading the articles in the daily and Two Lane Livin’. I enjoy your writing style and you always have great recipes and tips!

I think I may have found my new tea time cookie to replace all the things I can no longer eat that contain wheat. Do you enjoy tea? Tasha Tudor had a farm and always had tea at 4 sharp. You’ll still be read and loved even if you are a coffee gal.

Thank you for the link to your newspaper article. I am headed over there right now. Happy to hear of your new assignment. I know their readers will love you as we do!

Everyone… I noticed I was the only one commenting on Suzanne’s column in the “Charleston Daily Mail” newspaper. I don’t know if that is a paid job for her, but it looked as if she had no followers. Of course you and I know that is not true. All it takes is a quick registration so your name or nick name will come up when you comment. Then you can support her there, too. Her March column is similar to what she would have written for sam-e.com Check it out.

Yum…strawberry and coconut..two of my favorite flavors. These sound (and look) delicious and very easy. That’s great news on the new column. I enjoyed your March column in the CDM. Excellent ideas for thinking spring 🙂 We have mud here too, but not as much as you. I sympathize!

  7. CindyP says:

I really did not ever see being able to leave a comment on the Charleston Daily Mail column! I registered and commented!!!! And those cookies will probably be made tomorrow — I have the marmalade!

Barbee’, thank you for pointing out that we can (and should) support Suzanne on the “Charleston Daily Mail” website by commenting on her posts. I registered too and made a comment on her “making lard” and the recipe for these strawberry/coconut cookies.
