Fixing a Big Breakfast

–because Ross is here!

He loves to just walk in the door and surprise me!

This is really really the last time. He leaves for his sub a week from Monday. He managed to get in one last weekend. I was so happy to see him, gave him a big hug and another big hug. Ross is here!

Oh I know you are going to miss him so much ! On another note, you should awaken to the beauty of baking bacon. On a foil lined cookie sheet, 350 degrees about 20 minutes. No muss, no mess, and tastes delish !

Congratulations on creating a space that even your grown boy loves to come home to. I bet it’s not just for the big breakfast. I second oven-baked bacon.

Mmmmmm…Oven-bakin’ bacon! Now, since two in a row have recommended it, I am now watching as my oven crisps the strips! It is smelling really good. So, do you flip them half-way through?

  4. bonita says:

I do mone on a cake colling rack over the sheet pan. No turning needed, Nice and flat, that’s the best.

So glad your man is home again! I’m with the oven bacon crowd, on a cooling rack, with aluminum foil underneath to ease with cleanup…all the grease drops off (easy to save)and it’s crispy as you want it and flat!
Please send my condolences to Ross and Selena, as well as you and all family members. May the next babies be strong enough to come home to roost.

    Pam

    Hello Ross!

I’m with the others, oven bacon is sooooo easy. You don’t have to turn it, just keep an eye on it. Twenty minutes is usually when I start checking it. Depends on the bacon, some cooks faster than others. :pinkpig: :hungry:
