Spicy Chicken Pups!

This recipe is based on my hush puppies recipe. I doubled the recipe and used a cup of diced chicken and a cup of diced jalapenos plus a tablespoon of crushed red peppers. Morgan said it was awesome! Score! (And she doesn’t LIKE hush puppies, so nobody tell her.)

Fry a shoe and it would be edible, but this looks really good! Did you have a dip with it?

chicken….or cornbread…add fried to it and you have my attention!

Suzann, I make a dressing for my taco salad that would be a good dip for these chickpups as well, my Hubby likes it with warm tortilla chips or doritos as well. I start with sour cream (low fat is ok) mix in chunky salsa as hot or mild as you like, and cumin, I dont do amounts, just to taste. It is like a dressing that Chi-Chi’s used back in the 80’s. It is always popular when I take it to a get together.
It is also good with a big baked potato, fries or onion rings.

Suzanne, I am sitting here laughing so hard…and I am all alone!! Okay, so you finally made it, you have “Chickens in the Road!” And that, my friend, is why you moved…we didn’t know it then, but we know it now. You are HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
