Glad to see you are close to be able to get out.
Suzanne, I am watching a segment on TV able issues with frozen water pipes, there are 2 things they are stressing to help reduce the chance of pipes freezing pipes, 1—heat wrap tape and 2—pipe insulaters. The insulaters for pipes are long foam tubes that have a slit up one side and they can just be slipped around your pipes, they can be cut to size and secured with twist ties. We have them on all of our pipes in the basement, our basement is heated, but they are so inexpensive we just use them as extra insulation. All of these products can be found at you local Lowes.
I hope this may help you, these are things that you can easily do your self, ask the folks at Lowes, they are very helpful.
