It’s a giant job for a Giant Puppy. She stares, relentlessly, at the giant woods. She’s watching for giant bad guys! And she would eat them in one giant bite!
These two are too busy taking bites out of each other. They can’t do the giant job! They are the class clowns, the court jesters, the Keystone Kops.
There’s only one Giant Puppy.
And she knows it.

In this photo she reminds me of that Saturday morning cartoon of yesteryear…with the guardian sheep dog that foiled the coyote. Nothing seems to disturb her job!

What a good giant puppy! I’m LOL-ing at the second pic.
Our female cat likes to sit and stare at nothing for long periods of time.

Yep, she looks like she will keep the wooly booger away.

I agree with Sheila – she’s the “clock in” and guard the sheep sheepdog from Loony Toons. 🙂

Isn’t it amazing the qualities and skills our dogs, and other animals, bring with them when they share their lives with us! Coco, the photo entry for “working dog.”

I’ve got 2 of these dogs and they spend many hours staring and sleeping (with one eye open) each day. All is quiet until something invades their space. Then they have the deepest bark, sounds like a roar. Meanwhile, they are totally people non aggressive, they just sound like they will bite your leg off.

Hopefully it’s not a giant bear Giant Puppy is looking! We have one here… Haven’t seen him, but I have seen his big paw prints and his big pile of poop on our road. He likes walking along the road a bit too much. I’m hoping I won’t come face to face with this bear one of these days!

I think they sleep with their eyes open, they make you think they are standing ground, watch for the head bob, if it droops, they are sleeping. My big dogs would do that, it is so funny!
