Glory Bee, holding court with the hens.
She needs some kind of company during (temporary) periods when she’s separated from mommy. The chickens enjoy her big giant baby back.
It’s a good place to stretch out and straddle….
….or even take a nap!
lizzie says:
Glory Bee is so cute and warm that is why the chickens love her so! :fairy:

If a few more chickens would climb aboard Glory Bee, the chickens would have warm feet and Glory Bee would have a feather blanket (albeit a live blanket).

It looks like such a peaceful place! I think you should write some children’s picture books with GB as the main character. All her adventures would make some really fun stories & the pictures would be adorable.

Whaledancer says:
It looks to me like story-time in the barnyard. The chicken recites to Glory Bee
“The more it snows (Tiddly Pom)
The more it goes (Tiddly Pom)
On snowing.
And nobody knows (Tiddly Pom)
How cold my toes (Tiddly Pom)
How cold my toes (Tiddly Pom)
Are growing.”
And Glory Bee responds
“Cottleston Cottleston Cottleston Pie,
Why does a chicken? I don’t know why.
Ask me a riddle and I reply
Cottleston Cottleston Cottleston Pie.”
And then they all snuggle up together and have some cookies and warm milk…

Sheila Z says:
Example of a symbiotic relationship. They are both getting warmth from the others body heat and the chicken can pick lice (if GB were to have any). Win, win!
