It’s snowing again this morning. It has done nothing but snow, and more snow, for the past week.
Here’s one of my neighbors trying to clear my driveway with a plow attachment on a four-wheeler on Saturday. (It didn’t help much, though I appreciated the effort! He said he was just bored anyway. It snowed some more right after he finished.)
There’s no school, again, today.
Morgan hasn’t been to school in ten days. She is SO UPSET.

My senior daughter is so envious of Morgan’s predicament! She has stepped up her prayer request for a Day on Wednesday – and we just may get it way down here in SW Georgia.

OMG – ten days of having an 18 year old home from school. You have my deepest sympathies. Can’t wait to read the Maia saves the day series and love, love, love the digital format. Do you plan on coming out with a book called 50 Shades of Hay???

In our area all of the snow days were used up a while back now the students may have to go to school for a week or so in the Summer.

I’m sure their days are used up here, too, and school will be running into June. But Morgan is a senior and they get out on time no matter what, it’s a perk of being a senior!

That many days off must set some kind of record.
We don’t have snow but we have extreme cold and a propane shortage. We are firing up the wood stove.
Farm chores are not enhanced by this kind of weather, are they?

We are into our Easter Vacation right now here in Western PA. Some school will be going the first week in June I think at this point. I work in the cafeteria at our school so no school means I”m off too and with no pay. We will make it up but darn its hard this time of year.
We have a neighbor who plows driveways too. All because he needs something to do. We went out in the storm the other day to get my daughter from work and came home to the driveway plowed. lol. We appreciate it. 🙂

Here in north central Alberta it has been a bizarre winter. Normally it is just cold and snow but this year it has been snow, melt, freezing rain, more snow, more melt and on and on…so much so that now I must wear my “strap-on” cleats if I dare venture out! It is a skating rink out there! Many days one dare not even chance a drive on the highways…best to stay home and bake!!
