Goat BABIES!!!!

Aug
23

I love these babies.

I refuse to believe that they will ever change and start sticking their tongues out and spitting and grunting and acting like KISS rock stars.

I feel sorry for goat babes that are singletons.

The average goat delivery is twins. A delivery of triplets is cause for celebration. Quadruplets….. That is one goat mama that has a place in heaven.

They are so cute and so frisky, I could spend all day watching them.

If you missed yesterday’s second post in this section, you can find it here. I’m posting here more often, and more randomly, because too much happens every day for one post!!!

But I’ll try to control myself.

By the way, we had some Big Fun here yesterday moving donkeys and goats. MORE LATER!!

  3. Jan Alexander says:

That was 3 minutes and 29 seconds of pure fun watching those babies. They are just too cute!

  4. Johanna says:

Wow, those boys start the head butting young! Do girl babies do the same, or is it really the beginning of the boy thing?

The video is great fun — please post video more often!!!

  5. Barbee' says:

  8. Brenda E says:

How cute they are – I love the way they pounce like they have springs on their feet. You can tell who the dominant one is. And I love the fact that Clover is just totally immune to what they are doing – eating away. Can’t get enough of those cute babies. thanks for the video.

  9. Karen Templeton says:

Okay, now you need a bouncing baby goat smiley. :happyfeet:

Absolutely adorable. And I’ll second the comment about Clover’s obliviousness to her babies’ antics. I kinda got that way, too, ‘long about kid #3… πŸ˜‰

  10. Cousin Sheryl says:

Loved the video (I finally get to watch videos now that I have satellite internet and NO teenager in the house πŸ˜† πŸ˜₯ )

Sailor has the bottom part of an anchor on his right flank. I now have a name for the other one. He is “Pirate!” Look at his left flank, he looks like he has a sword hilt running toward his front leg. Isn’t that a perfect name???? Pirate and Sailor – they go together like bop shew wop be bop!

    :snoopy:

  11. Miss Becky says:

Suzanne, that video is so much fun to watch! I loved it. The little one with the white top-knot was a bit more agile than his brother, who kept taking those tumbles off the plank. what fun, thanks for the video

  12. Lisa says:

I laughed till I cried watching this! I love how little Top Knot frolics with happiness when he succeeds in knocking his brother down. Too cute.

  13. Grammie Earth says:

ohh those bouncing kids are sooo cute! Clearly Sailor is the alpha kid for those 3+ minutes! I love watching them frolic!

MORE MORE VIDEOS please…you know, in your spare time!!!! LOL

  14. One Sunny Acre says:

I really enjoyed the video. They are a couple of characters, just like their mama! The bouncing was too funny and I felt a little sorry for the clumsy one because he had such a hard time getting back up there. :sheepjump:

  15. momma-leigh says:

Ok I know that this has been up for a little while now but, I just let my 2 year old daughter watch it. I have never heard her laugh that hard at something! Too cute!

That was hilarious…funny how the smaller one is the more dominant one of the two. Seeing the video and the posts makes me want goats even more! One day.

My daughter & her family just bought a Mama, her baby & another baby Pygmy baby, plus a half grown Nubian. Like many, I could spend the day just watching them. Who needs to go places or spend money for entertainment when God gave us such blessings as animals to watch. Loved the video. (& hearing the rooster in the background)

  23. BrenDasef says:

I want a GOAT!!!!!! These two are characters, aren’t they? Love the roosters in the background. I miss going back to the farm.
