Oh my. Pears are a bit more of a chore than apples. But I love them! I am supposed to get some in a week or so. What are you going to make with 25 gallons of pears?
The pears look great, I’m jealous. We only have a few onions, beets, and carrots left in the garden, and a few tomatoes to can. There’s actually a possibility of snow tomorrow, so we’ve got to wrap it up today. Really hope it comes as rain instead of snow, we haven’t had rain in well over a month! so we need the moisture.

Any suggestions how to clean and pick them? It’s my first year of gathering them. Thanks.

Pears aren’t bad–if you have a Squeezo!
