The green, the green! It’s bursting out everywhere here now. Every day, I walk outside and our house is more and more surrounded by the amazingly verdant lushness that is West Virginia in the spring and summer. This past winter was so hard, and so long. I still look at the green every day and can hardly believe it’s real.

What is the pink blossom floating on the pond and lying on the ground?

We’ve felt the same way about spring here; our winter was so hard, cold, and we had so much snow it really has made spring all the sweeter this year. :happyflower:

I love the green. My husband usually hates to mow grass but this year no complaints. I think he is just happy to see green instead of white. This past winter was the worst I have seen in for ever. Weeks without power, weeks without school and weeks without being able to go anywhere because the roads were so bad. Oh how I love Green. :clover:

My husband was commenting just yesterday about how bright the green is now, it nearly blinds us. It seems the greenest green ever! :sun:

Beautiful, beautiful green. Ours isn’t quite there yet, I can still see the creek, but it’s getting closer!
Take lots of these pics and line your windows with them next winter….that may help get through it easier :happyflower:

:clover: I didn’t have the hardships you did last winter because I live in an apartment, but I’m so glad to wake up every morning to the beautiful green and the birds singing. The rain we’ve had the last couple of days has brought on this lushness.I have tomato plants set out and sunflowers a foot tall. I’m awed by God’s creation.

The green green grass and trees are so nice after the long winter of snow. I thought winter would never end here in Maine. :clover:

I’m looking at your green picture with the reflection of SNOW FALLING on my computer screen. Winter just won’t quit here in the Adirondacks. I can barely see the calves out in the pasture through the snow. boohoo.

I love the spring! We just had two little goats this afternoon. I had to have help pulling them out, the doe was so little! They are all well and eating and Momma is good too! You need a goat image to put on my messages! :sheepjump:
