How many heads are in there?
And yes, that’s me using Clover’s milk stand for a hay rack. I’ve been too distracted by THE COW to milk the goat. However, I will have a second chance soon with a possibly more cooperative subject.
Nutmeg’s waddling more than usual. I suspect she’s going to have some babies in a couple of months. If she doesn’t blow up because she’s so fat already that I think she’s been pregnant for about two years.

Ah, Nutmeg, you’ld best have a baby cow to get Woman’s attention. Since Glory Bee arrived we’ve heard precious little about Clover, Pirate, and Sailor. Not that Glory Bee isn’t cute…just sayin’

Oh little fat Nutmeg! Maybe you’ll FINALLY have a chance to lose that pre-baby weight you’ve been carrying! What a sweetie!

It’s about time Nutmeg got serious about something. That makes Clover a grandmother. Does Clover know that?

Suzanne McMinn says:
Barbee, oh no. I think Clover will have a hard time dealing with that!

Just wondering.

Suzanne McMinn says:
They can have three, maybe even four, I’m not sure! But I know three!

I think I count seven heads. Maybe. I love the close-up of Nutmeg. I remember having goats on the ranch I grew up on, and they always tried to eat my hair and climb trees. Crazy goats. Jeffrey and Pierre.

Emma Filbrun says:
Goats can have four at a time–our neighbors had a set of quads a month ago. The last-born died, but the rest are fine.

I know how Nutmeg must have flet…when I was pregnant with my first, I reached “Shamoo” status rather quickly. There was a good natured guy at work that would tease me about “still being pregnant” every time he saw me, which was every other day! He would also ask me if I was going to be pregnant as long as an elephant! As I got nearer to the delivery date, it seemed like I had been pregnant for 2 years!(He he he)
