I haven’t driven on our road in a week. I’ve been going across the river and taking the long way around on the hard road to avoid our snow-covered road. It just got good yesterday. Well, okay, good is a relative term. The road is snow and mud and muck, but driveable. At last. And now it’s supposed to snow again…..

Put her in low gear, take it easy, and ease your way down the hill. Hope you have a safe time through this snow storm. Take care.

We are in the Panhandle of Florida and just got about 3 inches of rain. Sorry to say it is heading to Atlanta and then to Virginia and West Virginia. Bundle up and be sure to get someone who will do your chores for you.

Crooked Little Hen does not know that she’s a chicken! How could anyone not love this special girl? I also think her endearing story would make a wonderful children’s book.

Yep – we have a lot of new snow here in SW Iowa! Covered all the bare spots, everything is thick and fluffy again. Sky and ground are the same color and blend in – no horizon – this is cool!!!

I bet the hogs love all that sloppy, muddy weather. If you still have them… :pinkpig: :cowsleep: (I know this one is supposed to be a cow, but it looks like a hog to me.) 😉

I think I’d rather drive in snow than mud! We had 6 inches fall in our part of the Black Hills – it is so pretty, I wish my camera wasn’t messed up or I’d send you a picture.

I would take the high road or the low road, whichever is best, but I sure wouldn’t take that road. It looks like you could slide right off the hill!!
Our roads are a bit crooked and a wee bit narrow at times, but I am so glad they are paved.
We don’t get much snow here at only 1000 ft, but you sure need chains to get over the Sierras right now, and they are paved highways!
Looks like you will be settling in for the weekend. 😉
