Morgan has been such a good little helper since we moved here. I’ve been really proud of her.
(Notice she has everyone’s attention in that photo! Might have something to do with the bale of hay.)

She will always be your ‘little girl,” but in this context she is your invaluable helper, cheerful helper, hopeful helper, ready helper. . .
Just like her mom, she’s taking on new, wide ranging, important. . . responsibilities.
Yea Morgan!

Are those chore boots I see her wearing? She obviously wants a horse real bad. It’s good to see her participating.

Not being her mom, I think she’s outgrown “good little helper” and graduated to hard worker. Especially when she’s slinging bales of hay around.

So how come you have all the green grass? Dang…all I have is leaves and brown! Morgan realizes she needs to help her mama. I think you have some great kids. Wonder what has gone thru the animals minds over this move? :happyflower:

Well, sometimes they have a flash of ‘scratch my ear right there’ and ‘you’re nice and warm so let’s cuddle’ but those only last about 16 seconds then it’s back to “fud”

It is nice to see Morgan so happy, I am sure she feels the same sense of contentment and freedom you do, I am happy for her as well.
I am sure this move will change the whole family’s feeling–all good.

Yep, hay will make you very popular with the animal set. Good job, Morgan…it’s good practice for having horses because they need hay at least twice a day – – – – and they want more hay more like four times a day. My DH texted me last week when I was a little late getting home. He said “the horses are staring at the house so hard the paint is changing color!” Yep, hay makes you very popular!

I love seeing Morgan in the boots with the hay. She looks like a real horse woman. That is a great pic. When you get ready to get her that horse, you might want to check out horse rescue as an option. There seems to be an awful lot of abandoned horses needing homes these days.
