Aren’t they beautiful? The birds are our color during these black and white months of winter. I’m counting for Project Feederwatch this morning (a Cornell Lab of Ornithology project). 13 varieties so far. The cardinals have returned recently but I’m still waiting for the purple finches and pine siskins to show up. Last year we had lots of them. We’ve seen hawks too.
Happy Friday, Suzanne! :snuggle:

I feed birds year round but I especially love bird watching this time of year. It’s a rainy but mild temp day here in Central Texas and the sparrows are taking their turn at the feeder now. The doves will move in latter in the afternoon.

What a lovely photo. You are fortunate to live in an area that has Cardinals. None here in Washington State. We have Stellar Jays. They’re blue and beautiful, but kinda nasty.

Nice shot to get three species at once. We should all gather around the world’s table as peacefully.
