Ahhhh….Sweet, sweet summer! When the air is suddenly hot and heavy and the sky darkens…thunder rumbles and brilliant streaks of lightning shatter the atmosphere! Here comes the wind and the rain and tornados and hurricanes and all such things. And then you loose power because the wind blew a tree across the powerlines or lightning struck too close somewhere! Instead of being cold and snowed in, you’re miserably hot and flooded in. Six of one…half dozen of the other.
Enjoy your brownies, TV and knitting!
I can’t wait to see green again…this has been one long winter so far and we’ve got winter storm warnings for later today until Tuesday with 4″-8″ predicted. I miss the sun!! :hissyfit:
Hang in there, Suzanne. Spring is six weeks away…at least the first official day is. Now, if there will be dry ground and green things, don’t know. But, it won’t be long till it will be warm again. Think seed catalogs, baby chicks, and potting soil. They always make me thing of Spring. Have a great day!
Hang in there! Spring is just around the corner and all that you have been through this winter will also be a memory. Just remember, winter did not get the better of you; you survived on beans and brownies, generator power and knitting. Time to get out the seed catalogs and dream of spring.
Spring, summer and fall live in our memories….warm, wonderful colors! :sun: We can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.
Snuggle up and enjoy the fresh snow while you dream of seedlings and baby chicks.
Beautiful image, Suzanne. Thanks for the memories. :happyflower:
