Look at that! A wood shed made from pallets. They’re going to start calling us the pallet people.
Now, if some split wood would just jump in it……

Way back in the day… well, okay about 20 years ago, I built a whole barn using reclaimed wood from pallets. It was hard work pulling all the boards off, but free wood was free wood! I renailed them to my structure (as siding) laying them next to each other. Then, everywhere they met, I put another board on top of the “Crack.” This way I didn’t care if one was chipped, had a knothole, etc. It looked like lapboard when it was done. It made a nice and secure structure that housed my 2 goats, 4 chickens and 20 something rabbits. I salvaged windows and doors from a salvage place, and I think the whole entire thing cost me maybe $50 and that was gas in the borrowed truck to get the pallets, the doors and windows, nails, felting for under the (free from a yard sale) shingles, etc. I LOVE pallet reusage, and right now it is an “in thing!”

Wow, I would SO come help fill it up, if I could pet all your animals and milk the cow and stuff…except it would be a multi-hour drive and we’re about to leave on vacation for a week. Which also means…oh no! I’ll miss seven whole days of the daily farm, and maybe some barn posts. HELPP!! What to do?? :hissyfit:

I once had a canning cabinet built out of reclaimed pallets. 20 something years ago. I would like to have some and DH would look the other way long enough for me to get a few things done. Donkey barn, pig barn, duck barn, chicken house, turkey house, but it is being Oregon again and raining, so it waits for the weather to change. I’m SO jealous of you getting things done. :hissyfit: :snoopy:
