I love the rock formations in West Virginia. They are in some places massive, and they are always mysterious and timeless. They have always been there. They will always be here. They look the same now as they looked 100 years ago. There’s not a lot of things quite like that. They’re particularly beautiful in the fall with the color around them.

What a beautiful photo – I love rock formations! This would be beautiful in a frame. Back in my leg healthy hiking days, I really enjoyed hiking on the rocks and boulders along the Chattahochee River in Atlanta.

That looks like a giant komodo dragon slithering down the hill. Very neat.

I love the formations too! But forever? Nope. Think geologically…. a long time, maybe, but not forever!
