    You betcha! Stake that claim!
Just don’t let Clover see that equine prancing over the Sassafras name.

  2. BuckeyeGirl says:

She’s still got that huge smile on her face!!!

  3. Flowerpower says:

I like it! Have sweet memories of playing in my Grandfathers yard that held a huge sassafras tree. May you make great memories here at your new farm! :happyflower:

Love the sign! I’m so happy for you and Morgan (and Weston and Ross)! I’ve followed your farm adventures since you first began and this is a wonderful “next step”. Your new farm is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Love the sign!! You need a rustic pole to put it on…pipe or something. Youre moving so fast with everything!! Youre going to need to rest a bit soon girl! Youre making me tired just reading all the stuff youre doing! So excited for you in it all….JJ Michigan

Suzanne, that is wonderful, I agree a post is next concreted in place.
I still want sassafras. Do you know about when it is harvested? My grandmother used to make soft molasses cookies with sassafras frosting. It makes the best cookies there is.

  11. Cheryl LeMay says:

LOVE the sign. Where did you get it? I can’t wait to see it hanging.
Holstein woman:I’m intrigued by your sassafras frosting.Do you use the roots or leaves? What does the recipe say-would you post it?

    CUTE HAIR Morgan!!!
    Love the sign too!

  14. nursemary says:

Morgan is so happy she pulled her hair from over her eye so she can see everything! She is just beaming and probably dreaming of horses. Now that you are accessible year round, you better prepare for the sleepovers at your your house!

Just think Suzanne, if you run out of foil in January, no big deal! :shimmy:

  15. leneskate says:

Love the sign and Morgan looks so happy! Clover may not be with the horse on the sign but I am sure she will get over it with a cookie or 2. Happy that your happy. And yes cute hair!
    You are in my prayers.

  16. JOJO says:

:happyflower: A very nice sign indeed, another sign, as I see it, is the incredible weather you had for this moving venture, some rain, but no ice and snow. Everthing has come together so nicely for you, not saying there were not some worrysome times and stress, but the end result proves that someone is looking out for you and the family, all is good. We should all count our blessings, wag our tails and move on. :woof:

  17. Luann says:

That is a beautiful sign Suzanne. It reminds me of the woodworking my Dad use to do. Thanks for sharing, your sign brought back so many comforting memories.

  18. NancyL says:

And Morgan has her horse!!!! No wonder she’s so happy about the sign!

  19. Hlhohnholz says:

Love it!!! Love the smile on Morgan’s face even more. Love all the open space & sunshine in the background the most!

  20. twoturkey says:

Oh what a nice looking sign…love it….you grab one of the guys that helped to move you…they’ll dig a hole for a stake for you!
That girl smiling with the new hair do and EYES is so pretty! Better keep her! LOL

Hope in the future you will be selling some of your sassafras for Spring tea, I love the tea in the spring, a very old tonic.

  22. Estella says:

    Morgan looks so happy.

  23. sueann37 says:

Is everyone sure this is Morgan? I thought it was Ross. So happy for you Suzanne and more so for the animals. I worried about some of them at the other place.

  24. yvonnem says:

Yes, that’s Morgan! (Ross doesn’t smile like that!) :snoopy:

  25. yvonnem says:
