The two dozen Araucanas along with the four guineas and six ducklings have outgrown their previous brooder quarters and have been moved to a big brooder in the chicken house. A few more weeks and they’ll be big enough to let out into the chicken yard. Their brooder is near my sweet little duck’s ill-fated nest of chicken eggs.
After all these months since she lost her duck friends, she can hear quacking that is not her own again!
I just hope she doesn’t think it’s coming from her nest eggs…..
