No peace for BP anymore! If there’s not one chicken in her feed box, there’s sometimes two or three. Not to mention Glory Bee, who sticks her head in there sometimes, too. (Beulah Petunia has been known to head-bop Glory Bee out of her food. She can’t get rid of the chickens. They don’t care what she does, they’re not leaving!)

I feel the same way about my food sometimes!

On my blog, I would have labeled this post as a “Sharing Space” entry – although poor BP didn’t have a choice! Could Glory Bee be any cuter?! Gosh she’s just perfect!

I’ve been known to head-bop my children when they invade my dinner space, too! :o)

My donkeys and horses would sometimes do that to the llama….one spit and they’d never try it again! :shimmy:

Did you tell BP that’s the price of becoming a mother? Children, neighbors, everyone wants a piece of your space!!!

And, she may need some Tums if she has to eat so fast to get her full share. Poor BP, she surely is an easy going cow.

Glory Bee is just the cutest thing ever. She needs her own section of the blog. Perhaps she could have an advice column or something.

BP ‘s instincts really kicked in when you gave her the opportunity to raise her baby. And what a sweet cow she is. Thanks so much for sharing both of them with us. BTW I’ve noticed there’s no calf halter on little Glory Bee. Any developments on that front? :cowsleep:

I’m gonna try to get a calf halter on her this weekend!

That’s the way babies learn to eat grain….and other things. When Willow’s baby finishes her half of the milking he goes immediately to the feed trough and eats grain right along side her.
I tried a halter on him and it was much too large….found it in the calf lot!
I need to go shopping too.
