You need a few of our cats to complete the picture. The yellow cats adore our dog and sprawl all over him when they get the chance.
They would love BP; its their own personal heating pad.

If Beulah Petunia could talk I bet she would let you know how happy and contented she is on your farm. She got to keep her calf and the other farm animals like to snuggle in close. I’m sure it is a world away from the dairy farm she was at. BP is so lucky to have come to your farm.

You have your own Peaceable Kingdom at Stringtown Rising Farm, at least when the dinosaur isn’t bellowing. It never fails to amaze me how different species can be so comfortable with each other – you’ve created a beautiful home. I wish humans could do as well! And GB isn’t even jealous of the others resting with her mama!!!

I’d say BP is pretty accomodating and a great heat generator what with all that fermentation going on in her rumen.

Oh My!!! Love this picture and since the animal (goat?) on BP’s left side looks like a lion, this feels very “Peacable Kingdom”-ish.
You are a blessing to your animals, Suzanne….and a blessing to me every morning when I join your own Peacable Kingdom before I do anything else.
Thank you.

How adorable that is. Suzanne I keep looking at the photo you took for the Happy Card post and I think you should enter that in a contest. It is so very cute, but then all of your work is behind the camera.

Since, you have a cow and a half…are they in a barn or do you let them run around wild…and what about the cowpies?….do you have to shovel them up…and what do you do with them?….I was thinking about getting a cow if I ever got my little ole farm….but, the prospect of milking her and then her pharting and plopping…I don’tknow…I guess you get used to it…..Gotta find some waders…..https://chickensintheroad.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/cowsleep.gif
