After the seriously rocky start she got in motherhood. I really enjoy seeing what a good mama Sprite has become. She is still nursing her little Bear, though sometime in the next month or two he will move to the buck yard and hopefully find a new home as a buck on someone else’s farm.

Have you ever considered wethering the little boys for pets? The small-breed kids are pretty popular with children (and more importantly, their parents. I sold every wether I had this spring.

We could wether him. (We wethered Dr. Pepper, who we are keeping.) If someone wants to buy him wethered, we’ll do it!

Even though I believe my grandma was right when she said “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all,” I can’t help myself, I’ve got to say it: That is not Sprite’s best side.

You did a great job getting her to accept him. I’m so glad she turned in to a great mom. I never could get my doe that rejected her baby at 1 week old to take him back so he eventually became a bottle kid. They co-exist fine but she wouldn’t nurse him anymore.
