Stuck in Stringtown

While the goats have their heads stuck in the middle of the bale (you KNOW that’s where all the good stuff is), I’m stuck in general. MORE RAIN!! It’s too early in the year to be stuck…..

I totally agree! I’m not stuck, but my yard looks like a pond in several places. What’s worse…snow mixing in with the rain tonight for our area and even a winter storm warning in Pocahontas County. Looks like it’s going to be a long, wet winter again this year in WV. Ugh! :dancingmonster:

We are just getting our first good rain in several weeks today here in Oregon. I was wondering if we were going to have fall until this rain and the leaves came tumbling down with it.

We had rain this week for the first time in a while. We really needed it but then there go some of the leaves. A nice project might be to build a bridge over the creek so you wont be confined to your hill if you want out and it has come a flood. :happyfeet:

I am a retiree and medical issues are always at the back of my mind. What do you do in a medical emergency? Heart attack, major broken bone, farm accident? Medical helo (helicopter) evac?

  6. Flowerpower says:

sooo it’s not just a creek…it’s a river! That does put a different spin on it. Well Suz…guess you will be stuck in Stringtown. Just think of all the things that you might not have really wanted to do…you can say..we are rained in and I can’t come! :happyflower:

I really feel for you, but it could be worse. It’s SNOWING here (CT). We were planting garlic this morning and barely finished in time. This is just wrong! 😉
