The Clover Express made its maiden voyage!
Without hay bales, but oh well. Not pulling those out till party time.
Heather was driving and CindyP was riding shotgun in the wagon.
The hay rides will load in the barnyard, take a trip around the goat yard, back to the barnyard, out the driveway and across the road, and into what was the cow field until I moved the cows last week to The Other Cow Field.
Then back across the road to the barnyard, into the goat yard for another round, and back to the barnyard to unload.
The practice run on the route worked great. Can’t wait!

It must feel good to have so many excited about coming to enjoy Sassafras Farm and its owner as well as so many of us who wish we were there. Oh do enjoy. You’ve worked so hard and so long for it.

What do the two signs on the fence next to the barnyard gate say?

Bales of straw on the “hay” ride might give more cushion. When the event is over you can put the bales of straw around the foundation of your house for additional winter insulation.
Yes, I know you already have a barn full of hay and it’s at the ready.
Just wanted to offer up my thoughts.
