The Baby Biscuit


You know the one. The one you make out of the last bit of dough after you’ve cut out the rest of the biscuits. The one that’s misshapen and small. The one you have to snatch right off the baking sheet, slather in butter, and put in your mouth RIGHT AWAY.

The one you don’t have to tell anyone about……

    My mom always made two little ones for my sister and I. The best biscuits in the pan were the ones that we shared.

    My dad loved to mix softened butter and sorghum together and slather on a hot biscuit. So good!
