I thought you were talking about the beautiful girl and her dog on the porch. You are making the place look wonderful. I’m getting jealous of all the beauty you are creating. We are moving this year so I told DH I wouldn’t garden this year. Bah Humbug!!!!!! Not even flowers.
Enjoying your recent posts about your gardening, Patriot & Morgan. Looking forward to posts about the Studio demolition/construction this week. In fact, I look forward to all your posts. (Yes, I’m addicted to your website!) You work so hard; I don’t know how you manage to do it all. When you can find the time, I’m longing for updates on Coco & Chloe.
Everything at Sassafras Farm is looking very nice. The Saucer Magnolia (tulip tree) is flowering nicely too! Here in central VA, they are almost done flowering…petals are all over the ground. 🙂
You must be 2-3 weeks ahead of us here in Northeast Ohio! We’re just getting the Forsithea in bloom and our dafodils, but it is great to know it’s coming! Your getting every thing cleaned up and pretty! Looks great.
Your yard is looking good. It is alot of work but so pretty. I am working on mine too. Had to lock all my chickens up except those pesky game birds I can’t catch.
I was wondering about The Big Puppy. How is she? When is she coming home?
:snoopy: Oh wonderful spring! That is what nurtures our soul and keeps us going!! You so deserve to be friends with your mulch and flowers and then. Vegies! Have a great day Suzanne!!-rain
The beds look great! And that thing that Casper is doing to Morgan? We call that “an extreme close up”. I want to come sit on that porch and rock in the chair, please!

It looks beautiful! Wish I could get out and do that. My front yard is a swamp from all of the rain…can’t even cut the grass. 😥

I love the way fresh mulch looks.
When you complete the Master Gardener classes, I would like to know your thoughts on mulch.
I am a Master Gardener in your neighboring state.

My chickens get into my mulch and scatter it all over the place! How do you keep the chickens out of the mulch?!
