The Good, the Bad, and the Crazy

Yesterday, we took the sheep down to the meadow bottom for the winter.

It went something like this.

Crazy, crazy, choke, drag, crazy, crazy, and some bonus hysteria:

Butterflies, nursery rhymes, Disney songs, and bluebirds:

In other words, Miss Crazy Jacob and Crazy Junior thought we were trying to kill them and fought us the whole way while Annabelle skipped along at my side eating cookies out of my hand while Minnie Belle tagged behind.

In case anyone wonders why I’m planning to keep one pair of sheep and NOT THE OTHER.

Butterflies, nursery rhymes, Disney songs and bluebirds. Okay, I think I get it. Is it a breed thing? Or just a ‘tude thing?

Been there – done that, thinking of doing it again…LOL

could it be because sheep are dumber than a bag of hammers?????

What breed is Annabelle? I like her calmness!

I always did love Annabelle! And, of course, Mini Belle.

When I was “ranch sitting” the neighbors sheep, I learned the hard way that the sheep LOVE the dog’s food! I didn’t want them to follow me….but they did! And then, I had to go get more dog food…..
Have you tried dry dog kibbles?

Some sheep don’t know what they are missing. Glad Annabelle and Minnie were good girls. :sheepjump: :sheep:

“could it be because sheep are dumber than a bag of hammers???” Please bbkrehmeyer, stop insulting hammers!!! OK, if they’re able to stay calm, they can have a certain amount of sense… but it’s so rare that they can stay calm!!!

A good herding dog, and/or a calm herd leader can do wonders, which is why the ‘Judas Goat’ can be so helpful. …but yeah, they can make rocks (or hammers) seem smart.

A perfectly understandable choice! Annabelle and Minibelle area both adorable!

Aww, what cute critters. What breed of sheep do you have? I’m looking to replace my flock in the spring.
