The Orchard in Bloom

OR NOT!
IMG_7456
Someone left a comment asking to see a photo of the orchard area because surely my trees were in bloom. No, they’re not! In fact, it snowed some yesterday and it’s cold today. And cold and more cold is in the forecast for the next week along with some more snow! A year ago, we had a warm March with weather in the 80s. That was a bit much, but…. We are so far in the other direction this year, it’s a tad disappointing.

But I’ve got kids coming in and a houseful all weekend. Happy Spring!

The only thing I’ve seen in bloom are the daffodils!

Happy Spring to you! Even though we got 14 inches of snow the other day. But it is melting. You can’t stop Spring even if you try, Old Man Winter! Spring always wins in the end.
Have a wonderful weekend with your kids, Suzanne. Will be looking forward to pictures.

Yeah, well, they have arrested Puxatony Phil and have indicated (sp?) him on fraud charges-
That’s the rumor! I think there will be a film at 11- tune in.

We are having a very cool spring here in southwest Missouri too but I am seeing some pink on the peach buds.

Have a wonderful weekend with the family!

Our orchard isnt in bloom either, last year on the first day of Spring, it was 80 degress also, this year, it was cold gray and windy with flurries. We have another biggie coming in starting this afternoon. I keep thinking about the drought last year and think all of this is a gift from Mother Nature to give us much needed moisture for this year–may as well think positive.
I love it when our orchard blooms, I like to walk down there and just breath in that wonderful fragrance.

THANK YOU, I’m the guilty party. I guess I just wanted to see new life again. We moved and there aren’t any fruit trees here. Your place is still beautiful.
