I’m wondering if there is a reason chickens like to roost on other animals? Is it for the warmth?
It can’t be that comfortable with that bony spine and all.
Love the pic. One of my girls (chicken) is sick so she got tylan and wormer yesterday. I hate it when the get sick. Usually by the time they show outward signs, it is too late. But she was not dead this mornign so that is a good sign….keeping my fingers crossed.

That is so cute. Too bad us humans can’t take lessons from our four-legged friends. (Shades of brookdale’s comment.)

You shouldn’t have let the chickens watch that nature film about oxpeckers: now they all want to try it.

Hilarious! Your chickens are so broad-minded, they don’t care if their sofa is a cow or a goat!!!
