Great Pyrs are supposed to be self-cleaning. But Chloe always looks like this. I think she’s defective!!
P.S. And get a load of those giant paws. Her paws are already bigger than Coco’s paws. She’s going to be a humongous dog!

Dude! Don’t scare me like that! Glad it’s just a mud bath and not something worse! Don’t worry, it’ll drop off. :woof:

Whew! Not a good way to start my day. (Guess she’ll never be a lap dog.)

I wasn’t worried. I knew you wouldn’t title a post saying that something was actually wrong, “There’s Something Wrong …” She is entirely too cute. My dogs are both indoor dogs and we’ve had some wet weather. The hardwood floors are a constant battle. I get them nice and clean, and then I let the dogs out and back in … At least they’re not rolling in the mud like Chloe appears to be.

As my grandson told me one time “He’s a working dog grandma…just like me …when I work I get real dirty!” They had been digging holes in the dirt. Chloe must be a working dog now.

My dogs are black. So you can’t really see the dirt until they roll on the couch. As for Choe, I still wanna smooch that gritty little face LOL!

Yikes! You scared me too! She reminds me of our Lab, Samantha-right after bathing her, she’d run out, and wallow in the nearest patch of dirt! One time we had a big pile of barnyard liter composting, and she wallowed in that too!

A self cleaning dog? I thought only cats were self cleaning. This looks like any big dog I ever had. I love this photo. Chloe is my kind of dog.

Well, I’m glad my fear only lasted a moment. You must have thought it was funny, and it is, after the fact. My dog is tri color and the white gets really dirty in her long hair and then falls out. Lucky for her, I’ve been looking for dog shampoo, but haven’t bought any yet…..Like I have time to bathe her. She is a mini ausie.
I hope you NEVER have to go through the scare with
Chloe that you did with Coco.
