Morgan, Weston, and cousin Madison–on Weston’s last day home before I took him to the airport.
Weston, caught in the act of actually smiling!
The horses got into some burr trouble, so Morgan’s been working away at their manes and tails.
I’m afraid this is going to end up requiring scissors…..

Nice post, I was hoping we would get a glance of your tree.
A bit of hair conditioner on those tail may make it easier to remove the burrs.
I am happy for you that the Kids were able to spend some time with you for the Holidays.

What handsome young men your boys have become. Those blasted burrs! Baby oil works wonder too and is good for the manes as well.

I vaguely recall my Dad telling us to use oil in their tangled manes and tails to make it easy to comb out burrs.

We use baby oil in manes and tails to detangle them and keep them from tangling. It also makes it harder for burrs to cling to them.
