Weston’s back!
Reunited with his rat! (Not to mention his wallet!)
We will supervise ever so carefully when he returns to college in January so he doesn’t forget anything IMPORTANT!
In other news, we’re hoping Ross will be home before the end of the month, but we’re not sure. We’re never sure when Ross is coming. He’s still out to sea at the moment. But, our Jennie is coming back to spend Christmas week with us, so we’ll still have a houseful here.
Today is the last day of school before break. It’s “ugly Christmas sweater” day. Morgan got this sweater out of my closet…. In my defense, I haven’t worn it in years! I don’t think! Pretty sure…..
You can order Chickens in the Road: An Adventure in Ordinary Splendor now!

The sweater is not so bad. Well maybe if the rain deer didn’t look like Bullwinkle. As for the rat. It looks happy as a rat can. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Dear Suzanne, I hope you and your friends and family have a very happy Christmas. I just finished reading your book and can’t tell you how much I loved it. It was very interesting and entertaining reading but it also had a serious influence on my life. I’m struggling with some challenges and difficulties, as most everyone is, and your story was such an uplifting encouragement to be strong and never give up! Thank you so much for your wonderful book and your blog, I read it every day, and I hope for many wonderful blessings for you in the new year.
Smiles, Barbara

I figure a pet is a pet. I would have no problem holding a pet rat but I would have a problem holding a pet snake or spider. I guess it’s all in how you look at it.
Merry Christmas Suzanne to you and your family. I hope it’s a most wonderful time filled with love, peace and joy! :happyflower:
