Trapped

Immediately after the retreat–as in, the last hour of the Party on the Farm on Sunday–it started raining, cooling off the heat wave that attacked us during the retreat. Then it kept raining, the next day….and the next day. CindyP was going to leave on Monday, but she was flooded in.

I think this means I get to keep her! She’s mine.

Or is she!

OMG! I can just see the wheels turning in your two brains…planning the next workshop, the next retreat, the next picnic, the next….who knows. I hope 52 brought the wine. It could be awhile as we are getting more rain here in Virginia today. Stay dry!

not necessarily a bad thing… think of the help you have along with the laughs  her family might not be too happy though.

Yeah, I’m sure this flood is just HORRIBLE for the both of you. More time together? Oh DARN. 😀 What does Morgan have to say about this whole thing, I wonder???

I am soooo lucky! I pulled out of there about 15 minutes before it started raining. Dede took me the Speed Rd way, I took the Johnson Rd way…in my economy rental car. HAHAHAHHAAH, if Hertz could have seen me then 🙂

I took pictures of MrsFuzz driving through the creek before the rain. Seeing it now puts things into perspective. I could have used some extra days in the country!
